Shelfery Roadmap (Placeholder)¶
This is a lightweight, honest placeholder, not a committed roadmap. It exists to describe where the venture currently sits relative to the company's general product lifecycle model, without inventing dates or feature commitments.
Current stage¶
Shelfery is in an early, pre-definition stage. There is a venture brief and
a set of working assumptions (see docs/strategy/venture-brief.md), but no
approved product specification yet.
Stages (generic, not Shelfery-specific commitments)¶
Shelfery's progress is expected to loosely follow the company's general
product lifecycle stages, described in
../../../../docs/architecture/artifact-lifecycle.md. At a high level,
those stages are typically framed as:
- Discovery — validating problem, users, and direction. Shelfery is currently here.
- Definition — turning validated direction into an actual product
specification (
product/product-brief.md,product/product-requirements.md). - Build — implementation against an approved specification and architecture.
- Launch — release to real users.
These stage names are used generically and are not a Shelfery-specific promise about timing, sequencing detail, or exit criteria. Refer to the company product lifecycle documentation for the authoritative definition of each stage and what governs moving between them.
No committed dates¶
This document intentionally contains no dates, timelines, or sequencing commitments. None currently exist for this venture, and none should be inferred or added without an explicit, reviewed decision.
No feature commitments¶
No features are committed until product/product-requirements.md is
defined and reviewed. This roadmap placeholder should not be read as
implying any feature, capability, or scope decision. See
product/feature-inventory.md for the current (empty) state of feature
planning.
Relationship to product/roadmap.md¶
product/roadmap.md intentionally does not duplicate this content — it
points back here. This document (docs/strategy/roadmap.md) is the
canonical current-state roadmap statement for Shelfery.
