Company Opportunity Backlog¶
Purpose¶
This is the company-level, cross-venture backlog of opportunities: new
venture ideas, or ideas that span more than one existing venture. It is
intentionally lighter-weight than a venture's own internal backlog — for
example, Digital Products maintains its own, more detailed backlog for
candidate products within that venture alone
(ventures/digital-products/portfolio/). Entries there do not need to be
duplicated here unless they are genuinely cross-venture in nature.
Current entries¶
There are currently no opportunity-backlog entries beyond the two known,
already-registered ventures (Shelfery and Digital Products — see
portfolio/venture-registry.json). No new venture ideas or cross-venture
opportunities have been captured yet.

How to add an entry¶
Follow portfolio/intake-and-stage-gates.md — capture the idea with enough
detail to evaluate it later against portfolio/prioritization-framework.md.
Add a row to the table above with a stable ID (e.g. OPP-001).
